Beach Close Sat 10/14

Help Needed Please

The beach is officially open until Oct. 8th and it's predicted to be in the mid 70 degrees that weekend so I am inclined to keep docks and lines in the water until close. So the weekend of Oct. 14th will be the next opportunity to close. Saturday looks better than Sunday (as of now). 11 a.m. will give the sun a bit of time to warm things up.

Things to do:

  1. Bring in and secure swim dock.

  2. Bring in Swim Buoys.

  3. Bring in and roll up Swim Lines.

  4. Scan the entire nature reserve for any trash that has found it's way into the perimeters.

The toughest part is to drag the anchors up so I will need 2 or 3 strong backs (with gloves) to help with that. It is inevitable that some will have to take a plunge, so bring your swim trunks.

All canoes and kayaks will need to be removed from the beach by Oct. 8th.
